TÜV NORD GROUP's business unit Energy & Resources offers a comprehensive portfolio of services and products in consulting and engineering. We have supported our customers in many projects in the emerging hydrogen market (see references). We provide holistic support for hydrogen projects and offer a broad portfolio of services in the concept/planning, production, operation and decommissioning/disposal phases, depending on the area of application. We offer comprehensive support ranging from strategy development, feasibility studies and authority engineering to pre-engineering, basic and detailed engineering and EPC/M.

We support you right from the start with research and project plans as well as specific tasks. As of the conception phase, we are at your side with feasibility studies, strategic and financial advice and a wide range of organisational and technical services. In addition to concept development, taking into account legal, technical and economic framework conditions, we analyse requirements and support you in the feasibility study process, from basic and design planning through to approval planning.

For over 150 years, one of our tasks has been to analyse and control technical sources of danger. With a wide range of specific services, we are therefore in a position to provide you with expert support in the integration of hydrogen technologies into the industrial value chain. Our range of services extends from exploration and construction to project management, document and operator obligation management, basic and detail engineering for the process engineering process and production-related project support with comprehensive geotechnical, environmental and engineering services.

We support smooth-running operations with a comprehensive service portfolio and the primary goal of optimising operational reliability and preventing damage. Our services support you in implementing your operating strategies and the associated optimisation, servicing and maintenance concepts. Our safety-orientated approach, operational monitoring and the creation of damage prevention concepts ultimately help to establish hydrogen in the public eye as a safe and controllable technology.

Just as we are there for you from the initial project idea in the concept phase, we are also at your side during the decommissioning of plants with all the necessary services for dismantling and disposal – including project management and comprehensive services within the scope of operator obligation management. We create concepts in accordance with current legal requirements, standards and regulations and support you in identifying, analysing and avoiding potential risks during interventions.
